Harold C.
Sitterley, 84 of Lincoln Avenue, Butler, died Friday, October 10, 2003
in UPMC - Shadyside Hospital.
Born January 3, 1919 in Lomoore, Virginia, he was the son of Homer A.
Sitterley and Dorothy E. Tauberschmidt.
He was a Retail Manager for the former Gaylords Department Store in
Butler and was co-owner/operator with his wife of a retail business
selling honey products. He was an active member of Cornerstone Baptist
Church.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth M. Gray Sitterley whom he married on
January 6, 1948, one son, Harold C. Sitterley of Hartsville, South
Carolina, two daughters, Mrs. Steven (Judy) Bates and Mrs. Don
(Deberah) Langager both of San Diego, California, Thirteen
Grandchildren, Three Great-Grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Doris
Miller of Seneca, Pennsylvania, one brother, Melvin Sitterley of
Titusville, Pennsylvania, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were two brothers.
Friends will be received at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc.,
124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania, on Monday, October 13,
2003 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc.,
Tuesday, October 14, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend John Neyman
officiating. Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.
