Arthur "Gus"
Michael Taylor, 55 of Butler, passed away on
September 13, 2011 at the VNA Inpatient Hospice .
He was born
December 11, 1955 in Butler, PA. to the late Robert
Henry Taylor and Helen Ruth (Russin) Taylor.
Arthur worked
for A.K. Steel, Cycle Warehouse and Benjamin Beetle.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Arthur was a
die hard Steelers fan and he enjoyed spending time
with his family and friends.
He is survived
by one son, Jeremy Taylor, one daughter, Joanna
Taylor, six grandchildren, Lillian, Zachary, Zoey,
Dakota, Chloe and Dominic; several brothers and
sisters. He is also survived by his niece, Lisa
Albert, his caregiver with whom he lived and also by
several nieces and nephews.
In addition to
his parents he was preceded in death by one brother,
Robert Taylor.
Friends
will be received
at
Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North
Street Butler, PA.
on Friday, September 16, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8
p.m. with a funeral service following at 8:00 p.m.
with Pastor Terry Osborne of Calvary Baptist Church
officiating.
Burial will take
place in the Mt. Chestnut Cemetery.
