Paul Richard "Dick" Turner Obituary (1942 - 2021)

Paul Richard "Dick" Turner, 79, of Butler, PA, went home to be with The Lord on September 19, 2021, at Butler Hospital after a difficult illness. Dick was born on January 14, 1942, to the late Paul Turner, Sr. and the late Alene Sherman Turner in Butler, PA. He graduated from Butler High School and Slippery Rock College. He married Lana Hawk on November 16, 1963. He was an educator for over 40 years and was a favorite with his students. Dick was a faithful Christian and a member of the Zelienople Church of Christ. He is survived by his sons, Todd (Katrina) and Stephen (Debbie) as well as 4 beloved grandchildren, Abbey, Ethan, Savana & Mikayla Turner. Dick was preceded in death by his wife, Lana, and his brother, Terry Turner. A private service was held at the Chapel of Devotion Mausoleum at Butler County Memorial Park followed by interment. Arrangements were entrusted to Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, PA 16001.
