Albert C. Uhl, Sr., age 69, of Trinidad
Street, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Friday, November 11, 2005 at
11:52 a.m. in the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born December 27, 1935 in Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania, he was the son of A. C. and Daisey Mingler Uhl.
Mr. Uhl was protestant by faith.
Mr. Uhl was self-employed as a diesel
mechanic. He previously worked for DuBrook and Lakeview Golf Course.
He served with the Civil Engineer Corps during the Vietnam War. He
was a member of the Independent Order of Foresters. Mr. Uhl was an
avid hunter, fisherman and golfer. .
Mr. Uhl, Sr. is survived by his wife,
Mary M. Nicolazzo Uhl whom he married on October 22, 1956; his
daughter, Mrs. Michael K. (Robin) MacLean of Alexandria, Virginia;
his two sons, Albert C. Uhl, Jr. of Boyers, Pennsylvania and Ricky
A. Uhl of Butler, Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren and two great
grandchildren; his three sisters, Betty M. Ardery of Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania, Nancy L. Argosti of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania and
Diana A. Rice of Oceania, California; his two brothers, Anton C. Uhl
of Cheswick, Pennsylvania and Eugene R. Uhl of Gibsonia,
Pennsylvania and by a number of nieces and nephews.
Two brothers preceded Mr. Uhl in
death.
Friends will be received at the
Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler,
Pennsylvania on Sunday, November 13, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
Services will be held at the
Community Alliance Church on Monday, November 14, 2005 at 11:00 a.m.
with Pastor Robert Thomas of Community Alliance Church officiating.
Interment will follow in Saxonburg Cemetery. |
