L. Dolores Walker, 78 of Butler, died
Saturday, August 23, 2003 at 9:27 p.m. in Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born March 22, 1925 in Butler, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of
Carl Youkers and Mabel Kradel.
Prior to becoming a homemaker, she worked at Armco Steel. Later in her
life she worked for Hallmark, Teak's Shoes and the Pointe Drug Store.
She was a member of St. Marks Evangelical Lutheran Church.
She graduated from Butler Area High School class of 1943 and also a
graduate of Butler Business School.
Surviving are one son, Tom Walker of Gapland, Maryland, one daughter,
Charlene Krumpe of Moscow, Idaho, Son-in-law, Dr. Edwin Krumpe of
Moscow, Idaho, three grandchildren, Tara Walker Reeder of Mason,
Michigan, Blaine Krumpe of Moscow, Idaho, Jessie Krumpe of Moscow,
Idaho, Sister, Mrs. Elaine Hesselgesser of Slippery Rock,
Pennsylvania, Step-mother, Mrs. Mildred Youkers of Butler,
Pennsylvania, and a Number of Nieces and Nephews. Her family and
devoted friends will miss her. They were a very important part of her
life.
Friends will be received at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc.,
124 East North Street, Butler, PA, on Thursday, August 28, 2003 from
9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc.,
Thursday, August 28, 2003 at 11:30 a.m. with the Reverend Richard J.
Leseganich officiating. Interment will follow in Gruenwald Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Pennsylvania 4-H
Foundation, Agriculture Administration Building, University Park,
Pennsylvania.
