Curtis Garth
White, 91 of Meridian, died Thursday, December 11, 2003 at 7:16 a.m.
at Butler V A Medical Center.
Born May 6, 1912 in Muddycreek Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania,
he was the son of Curtis L. White and Ruby O. Stewart.
Mr. White was a retired equipment operator for W. L. Roe Company.
He was a member of Meridian United Presbyterian Church. Mr. White was
a life member of the Disabled American Veterans, life member of the
Meridian Vet's Club, member of the meridian Volunteer Fireman Company,
life member of Tanglewood Senior Center, a member of the U. S. Army
Air Corps. and a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in WW II.
Mr. White is survived by his companion, Phyllis M. Bilowich of Butler,
Pennsylvania.
Preceding him in death was his wife, Helen M. White, deceased on March
16, 1974 and by two sisters and one brother.
Friends will be received at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc.,
124 East North Street, Butler, PA, on Sunday, December 14, 2003 from 2
to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc.,
Monday, December 15, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Stephen
Cahoon officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Burial Estates.
