Emma Margaret Williams, age
89 of North Main Street, Butler, Pennsylvania, died
Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at 3:55 a.m. at her
residence.
Born March 10, 1922 in
Butler, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the
late Milo R. Williams and Edith Sutton Williams.
Miss Williams was a member
of St. Andrews United Presbyterian Church. Miss
Williams received a B.A. in Sociology Class of 1943
and an M.A in Education, Class of 1945 from
Allegheny College. She was formerly associated with
Milo R. Williams "Jewelry Store". She was a member
and former officer of the Daughters of the American
Revolution - General Butler Chapter, A. A. U. W.,
Reading Club of Butler, and Senior Woman's Club.
Miss Williams was also a patron of the Butler County
Symphony and formerly was active with the Butler
Country Club.
Miss Williams is survived
by Robert Moore, Jr. of Butler, Pamela Patterson of
Butler, Cheryl Hayes of Mt. Lebanon, Carol Ann and
Thomas Campbell of Butler,and Miss Marcie Hepler of
Butler. And further survived by long-time friend and
caregiver for more than 40 years, Miss Helen Olenic
of Butler.
Miss Williams was preceded
in death by Mrs. Thomas (Suzanne) Hepler.
Friends will be received at
the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East
North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Friday,
October 14, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and Saturday
from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Services will be held at
the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, on Saturday
October 15, 2011 at 1:00 p.m.with the Reverend Merry
H. Meloy of St. Andrews United Presbyterian Church
officiating. Private interment will follow in North
Side Cemetery.
