Katheryn (Kay) M. L. Hutchens Bowers,
age 85, of Pittsburgh Road, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Sunday, March
23, 2008 at her residence. Born
July 14, 1922 in Butler, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the
late Clifford and Caroline Dunbar Hutchens.
Mrs. Bowers was a visiting nurse for
the Visiting Nurses Association of Butler and for St. John's Conv.
Unit in Valencia, Pennsylvania.
She is survived by three sons, Robert
L. Bowers II, Ronald K. Bowers, and Charles C. Bowers; two
grandchildren, Braden Eric Bowers and Lauren Percy, and by one
brother, Robert Hutchens.
Mrs. Bowers was preceded in death by
her husband, Robert Leroy Bowers, Sr., who was deceased November 1,
1997.
Friends will be received at the
Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler,
Pennsylvania on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 from 10 to 11 a.m.
Services will be held at the Thompson
- Miller Funeral Home, Inc. following visitation on Wednesday, March
26, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Ralph Link, retired pastor,
officiating. Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.
