Jay R. "Snuffy" Broman

February 24, 1952 - April 15, 2008

Jay Rodney "Snuffy" Broman, age 56, of Bullcreek Road, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. in a motorcycle accident on I-95 near Florence, South Carolina.

Born February 24, 1952 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania he was the son of William F. Broman, Sr. and Marlene Grimes Broman.

Mr. Broman was the owner of Jay's Auto Sales and Sue's Repair in Butler. He was Baptist by faith. Mr. Broman was a member of the Side Car Club and former treasurer of Abate. He also liked riding his motorcycle, singing karaoke, camping and traveling.

Mr. Broman is survived by his wife, Susan J. Brown (Boyer) Broman whom he married on October 29, 1998. He is also survived by his parents, William and Marlene Broman of Butler, Pennsylvania; his father and mother-in-law, Thomas and Faye Brown of Valencia, Pennsylvania; two daughters, Nicole Adamski and her husband Brian of Butler, Pennsylvania, Brandy Broman of Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland; two grandchildren, Travis Adamski, Aaron Burd, Jr.; two step-daughters, Amanda Burd of West Sunbury, Pennsylvania, Kimberly Boyer at home; two brothers, William and his wife Mary Ellen Broman, Jr. of Butler, Pennsylvania, Bradley and his wife Marcia Broman of North Apollo, Pennsylvania; one sister, Jill and her husband Robert Cavalero of Butler, Pennsylvania; sister-in-law, Judy Brown of Butler, Pennsylvania; four nieces and three nephews, one great-niece and two great-nephews.

Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Saturday, April 19, 2008 from 7 to 9 p.m. and also on Sunday, April 20, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday, April 21, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Barry Murray of Calvary Baptist Church, Allison Park and Reverend Ken Tack of Chicora, Pennsylvania officiating. Interment will follow in Summit Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
