Glen H. Cobbett

May 18, 1971 - June 3, 2008

Glen H. Cobbett, age 37 of Greenwood Drive, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Tuesday, June 3, 2008 due to an automobile accident on Route 68 near Buhl Road in Forward Township.

Born May 18, 1971 in Butler, Pennsylvania he was son of the Sharon Heist Cobbett Miller and the late Gary L. Cobbett.

Glen was a sexton for First English Lutheran Church. He was also a member of First English Lutheran Church. Glen was an Eagle Scout and enjoyed the outdoors. He loved farming and ran his own farm. He also helped weekly on the Fred Heinz Farm.

Glen is survived by his wife, Tina L. Ernst Cobbett whom he married on June 17, 2000, by two step-daughters, Sara Ernst, Brandi Wroblewski both of Butler, his mother and step-father, Sharon and Marshall Miller of Butler, two sisters and their husbands, Robin and James McVay of New Castle, Noelle and Tuck Sequite of Butler; his step-sister, Christine Miller of Denver, Colorado; his step-brother, Aaron Miller of London, England, his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sam and Bonnie Zurzolo of Butler, three brother-in-laws, Robert Ernst of Butler, Sam Jr. and his wife Kellie Zurzolo of Butler, and Brian and his wife Dawn Zurzolo of Butler.

Glen was preceded in death by his father Gary Cobbett.

Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Thursday, June 5, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and also on Friday, June 6, 2008 from 9 to 10 a.m.

Services will be held at the First English Lutheran Church on Friday, June 6, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend James W. Dollhopf of First English Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Burial Estates.
