Helen M. Divers, age
94 of Butler, Pennsylvania, died Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 4:03 a.m.
in the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born October 11,
1913 in Cabot, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Albert
G. Reamer and the late Bertha Gibson Reamer.
Mrs. Divers was a
homemaker and had worked at Stanley's Donut and Pastry Shop in
Butler. She was a member of North Street Christian Church and a
member of the Rebecca I.O.O.F. Lodge.
Mrs. Divers is
survived by two sons and their wives, Carl D. and Irene Divers and
James and Shelley Divers both of Butler, Pennsylvania; by three
daughters, Beulah Folino of Butler, Pennsylvania, Evelyn and her
husband Kenneth Critchlow of Renfrew, Pennsylvania, Connie and her
husband George Bader of Rochester, Pennsylvania; twelve
grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, one
great-great-grandchild, one brother, John Reamer of Lower Burrell,
Pennsylvania and by a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Divers was
preceded in death by her husband, James H. Divers who passed away on
September 20, 1971, and also by one great-grandchild, three
brothers, and two sisters.
Friends will be
received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North
Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Monday, May 12, 2008 from 2 to 4 and
7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be
held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday, May 13,
2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Bob Huber and Reverend Jeff Miller
of North Street Christian Church officiating. Interment will follow
in Greenlawn Burial Estates.
