Camden Ellenberger

April 16, 1921 - March 25, 2008

 
Camden Ellenberger, age 86 of Cypress Street, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at 9:40 p.m. in the Sunnyview Home.

Born April 16, 1921 in Chicora, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late Camden Ellenberger and the late Anna Elizabeth Jacobs Ellenberger.

Mr. Ellenberger worked as a service technician for several different car dealerships beginning in 1943 including Dick Glenn's and for Baglier Buick, retiring in 1984. He was a member of First English Lutheran Church. Mr. Ellenberger was a graduate of Butler High School, class of 1943. He loved antique cars.

Mr. Ellenberger is survived by three half-brothers, Charles Ellenberger of Butler, Pennsylvania, Raymond Ellenberger of Chicora, Pennsylvania, Robert Ellenberger; and by several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Ellenberger was preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude Pierce Ellenberger who passed away on June 15, 1998 and also by two brothers and one sister.

Private visitation and service will be held at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania.

Interment will be in Butler County Memorial Park.
