Edward J. Hamil, age 45 of
West Washington Street, Harrisville, Pennsylvania, died Friday, May
30, 2008 at 1:38 a.m. in the Forum Health Northside Medical Center,
Youngstown, Ohio.
Born April 10, 1963 in Grove
City, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late Ralph Hamil and the
late Josephine Stevens.
Mr. Hamil was a
telecommunications operator for Butler County 911 Center, retiring
in 2005. He was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church. Mr. Hamil
loved to watch his girls play fast pitch softball. He was the Vice
President of the Thunder Elite Girls Fast pitch Softball
Association. Mr. Hamil bowled in the couples league and business
league before his health failed.
Mr. Hamil is survived by his
Cindy Smith Hamil, whom he married on May 9, 1987, by two daughters,
Sara and Amanda Hamil of Harrisville, Pennsylvania; two sisters,
Janet Evans of Butler, Pennsylvania, Suzie Ferguson of Boyers,
Pennsylvania; and by one niece and two nephews.
Friends will be received at
the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street,
Butler, Pennsylvania on Sunday, June 1, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m.
Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on
Monday, June 2, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Harris of Trinity
Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant
Valley Cemetery. |
