Albert "Al" Karl Hansen, age 75 of Moore
Road, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Thursday, June 12, 2008 at 8:05
p.m. at his residence. Born
January 24, 1933 in Woonsocket, South Dakota he was the son of the
late Albert August Hansen and the late Erna Hansen.
Mr. Hansen was a brakeman in sheet
metal department for Pearson Mfg., formerly of Etna. Mr. Hansen
enjoyed arts, woodworking, gardening, metal work, contracting, yard
work - he did it all. And he loved his wife.
Mr. Hansen is survived by his wife,
Dorothy Ann Hansen whom he married in 1959, by son, Albert James
Hansen and his wife Shannon; daughter, Marlys June Hansen Frederick
and her husband Tim; four grandchildren, Ashley May Frederick, Kayla
Marie Frederick, Veronique Lacie Frederick, Nicholas Ivan Frederick;
brother, Edward John Hansen; five sisters, Arlene Labriola, Mildred
Hanningan, Marilyn Foringer, Karen Bursick, Lorraine Beatty; and by
one niece.
Mr. Hansen was preceded in death by
one son, Karl Robert Hansen who passed away on April 25, 2006, by
one brother Gert Hansen and one sister Marlys Hansen.
Friends will be received at the
Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler,
Pennsylvania on Saturday, June 14, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Services will be held at the Thompson
- Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 8:00 p.m.
with Reverend Steven Hansen, nephew and godson of Mr. Hansen
officiating. He is the pastor at Natrona Heights Church of the
Brethren.
