David Nulph

October 29, 1954 - May 28, 2008

David Nulph, age 53 of Nulph Lane, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. in the Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born October 29, 1954 in Butler, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late Wallace "Bing" Nulph and the late LaVere McGrody Nulph.

Mr. Nulph worked in the maintenance department for Slippery Rock University. He was a graduate of Butler High School, earned his associates degree in accounting from Butler County Community College, became an autobody technician from the New Castle School of trades, and a degree in heating and cooling from Triangle Tech of Pittsburgh, Mr. Nulph served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army in Germany during peacetime. He was interested in cars, target shooting and historical railroads.

Mr. Nulph is survived by his two sons, Kristopher Nulph, Patrick Nulph; and one daughter, Aileen Nulph all of Butler, Pennsylvania; his loving fiancée`, Linda Moser; one sister and her husband, Carol and Joe McEvoy of Butler, Pennsylvania, two brothers and their wives, Larry and Ruth Nulph of Butler, Pennsylvania, Gary and Emily Nulph of Hagerstown, Maryland; his step-mother, Mary Nulph and by six nieces and nephews.

Mr. Nulph was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Thursday, June 5, 2008 from 2 to 3 p.m.

A Memorial service will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday, June 5, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. with Reverend Lisa Grant of Christ Community United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
