Mary C. Anderson, age 94, formerly of
Old Eberhart Road, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Tuesday, April 6, 2010
at 2:45 p.m. in the Sugar Creek Rest in Worthington, Pennsylvania .
Born January 12, 1916 in Butler,
Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late William Bauer and
Caroline Leitz Bauer.
Mrs. Anderson was a maintenance
worker at the former Mellon Bank in Butler, retiring in 1981. She
was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Butler,
where she had been a member of the King's Daughters Sunday School
Class.
Mrs. Anderson is survived by three
sons, James G. Anderson and his wife, DeVonna of Prospect,
Pennsylvania; Harry B. Anderson and his wife, Joyce of Hudson,
Wisconsin; and Clifford G. Anderson, Jr. of Butler, Pennsylvania;
seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, three great
great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death
by her husband, Clifford G. Anderson, who passed away on February
14, 1983; and four brothers and two sisters.
Friends will be received at the
Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler,
Pennsylvania on Saturday, April 10, 2010 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Services will be held at the Thompson
- Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 8:00 p.m.
with Reverend Dr. Alden Towberman of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran
Church officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Burial Estates. |
