James R. Endfinger, age 72 of Reich
Avenue, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at
7:40 p.m. in the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born August 1, 1937 in Pell City,
Alabama he was the son of the late James Manuel Endfinger and Cora
Pearl (Meads) Endfinger.
Mr. Endfinger was a Letter Carrier
for the United States Postal Service at Redondo Beach, California
for 32 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Butler, and
served in the United States Navy.
Mr. Endfinger is survived by his
wife, Emma L. Endfinger whom he married on March 17, 1958, by one
daughter Julie West and her husband David of Butler, Pennsylvania,
one grandson, Joshua West of Butler; Pennsylvania and one sister
Dean Garner of Cropwell, Alabama and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Endfinger was preceded in death
by one sister and his parents.
Friends will be received at the
Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler,
Pennsylvania on Saturday, January 16, 2009 from 2 to 4 p.m.
Memorial services will be held at the
First Baptist Church of Butler on Sunday, January 17, 2009 at 4:00
p.m. with Pastor Dave Maitland of First Baptist Church of Butler
officiating.
