Born July 7, 1927 in Butler, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Joseph A. Youkers and Cora Klugh Youkers.

Mrs. Fisher was a Elementary Teacher for the LeBeouf School System, Waterford, Pennsylvania where she retired from in December 1987 after 25 years of service. She graduated from Butler High School and Edinboro University where she received her Bachelor of Science and Masters in Elementary Education. She attended Faith Fellowship Alliance Church.

Mrs. Fisher is survived by her husband, Walter A. Fisher whom she married on October 3, 1946, by two sons, Melvin E. Fisher of Florida and Walter M. Fisher of Erie, Pennsylvania, one granddaughter, Tracey Hunsaker and her husband, Bruce of Arizona, four great-grandchildren, one brother, Joseph A. Youkers and one sister, Wanda McKinnis both of Butler, Pennsylvania, two nieces and four nephews.

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
