Ruth V. Graham, 84, of Butler,
Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at Sunnyview Nursing Home at
12:10 p.m. on Tuesday, October 20, 2009.
Surviving are two sons, Paul L. Graham,
and his wife, Betty, of Renfrew, and Dennis L. Graham and his wife,
Gloria, of Butler.
Mrs. Graham is also survived by four
grandchildren; Dennis L. Graham, Jr. of Butler; Sharon E. Christy,
and her husband, Brian, of Butler; Andrew P. Graham and his wife,
Laura, of Cabot; and Michele M. Napoletan, and her husband, Robert,
of Butler.
Also surviving are four great
grandchildren, Jessica A. Graham of Cabot; Travis R. Ritenour of
Butler, Troy A. Ritenour of Butler, and Alexandra M. Graham of
Cabot; and three step great grandchildren; Breann Christy of Butler,
Ryan Christy of Butler, and Nicole Napoletan of Butler. A number of
nieces and nephews also survive.
Mrs. Graham was a homemaker and was
employed at the former Murphy's Store on Main Street in Butler. She
was of the Lutheran faith.
She enjoyed reading, gardening,
working in her flower gardens, and feeding and watching the birds
and animals that came to visit her.
She was a wonderful and caring
mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great grandmother who was
always there to listen to us and help us in anyway she could. Her
love deepened even more for her grandchildren and great
grandchildren and step great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed
by her family and all those who have been touched by her presence.
The love she shared and the great memories she gave us will be
forever in our hearts.
Her husband of 56 years, Paul. L.
Graham, whom she married June 17, 1944, passed away October 1, 2000.
She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Karen Louise
Graham, a sister, Dorothy Mae Wigton, and three brothers, Carl L.
Wigton, Clyde E. Wigton, and Dean L. Wigton.
Friends will be received at the
Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc. 124 East North Street, Butler,
Pennsylvania on Thursday, October 22, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m.
Services will held at Thompson-Miller
Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday, October 23, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. with
Pastor James Dollhopf officiating. Interment will follow at Butler
County Memorial Park. |
