Florence was born March 27, 1914 in Renfrew, Pennsylvania, and was the daughter of the late Clinton Rimer and Mary McClelland Rimer.

Florence was a homemaker and also worked at Troutman's Department Store for many years, and she was a member of Christ Outreach Church in Butler, Pennsylvania.

She is survived by one son, Gerald Hays of California, one daughter, Carol Cyktich of Florida, five grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence S. Hays, who passed away on April 29, 1962; one son, one daughter, one grandchild and two brothers.

Florence will be laid to rest next to her husband at Glade Run Cemetery, Middlesex Township. There will be no visitation or funeral services.
