William "Bill" Loniel Hays

William "Bill" Loniel Hays, 84 of Oak Harbor, OH, formerly of Butler, PA, died June 10, 2010 in the Riverview Care Center, Oak Harbor, OH.

Born July 22, 1925 in Butler, PA, son of the late William Henderson Hays and Kathryn Stoll Hays.

Mr. Hays worked for Pullman Standard and Koch Hardware. He attended Trinity Presbyterian Church and Christ Community Methodist Church, Butler, PA. Mr. Hays was in the United States Navy serving in World War II. He was a member of Victory Lodge #694 F.&A.M. for over 50 years, a member of the Scottish Rite Valley of New Castle, a life member of the D.A.V. Post #64.

Mr. Hays is survived by one daughter, Carol (Thomas) Osborne of Lakeside, OH and one granddaughter, Vanessa Osborne (Reif) Blackburn of Lakewood, OH.

Mr. Hays was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Julia Hays who passed away on Aug. 29, 2000.

We ask that all friends and family join us for a "Celebration of Life" on Sat. June 19, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Devotion Mausoleum at Butler County Memorial Park. Military services will be conducted. A luncheon for all will follow at Dingbats.
