Born Thursday, June 6, 1929 in Butler Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Carl Cooper and Irene D. Ferne .

Mrs. Jack was a waitress in several Butler area restaurants including Roxy's Diner. She also had been employed at Zayre's Department store. She was a member of Covenant Life Church in Butler.

Mrs. Jack is survived by her husband, Walter M. Jack whom she married on February 6, 1960, two sons, Gerald Hughes and his wife Laurel of Mars, Pennsylvania and Eugene Jack of Florida; two daughters, Elaine McClure and her husband James of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Susan Beck and her husband Franklin of Connoquensessing, Pennsylvania; ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews; brother, David Fennell and his wife Nancy; three sisters, Dorothy Green and her husband James, Joyce Sasse and her husband Francis, Anna Curtis and her husband William all of Butler, Pennsylvania.

Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Dean Addams of Covenant Life Church officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Burial Estates.
