Louis Kemper, age 75, of Concordia
Nursing Home in Cabot, Pennsylvania, formerly of East Penn Street,
died Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. in the Good Samaritan
Hospice at Concordia in Cabot, Pennsylvania.
Born December 3, 1934 in Butler,
Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Louis Kemper and Florence
McCann Kemper.
Mr. Kemper was a teacher for Butler
Area School District, where he retired from in 1995. He was Catholic
by faith. Mr. Kemper was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and also
served in the Army Reserves. Louis enjoyed fishing, hunting and
especially traveling, having visited 51 countries.
Mr. Kemper is survived by one sister,
Joan Kriley and her husband, Bernard of Butler, Pennsylvania; one
brother, Dr. Richard Kemper of Columbia, South Carolina; one
brother-in-law, Bernard Black of Butler, Pennsylvania and also by
six nieces and nine nephews.
Mr. Kemper was preceded in death by
one sister, Louise Black.
At Mr. Kemper's request, there will
be no public visitation.
A memorial mass of Christian burial
will be held at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 27,
2010 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Saint Peters Cemetery.
