John H. Reynolds (Jack), age 81 of Aspen
Ridge Drive, Portersville, PA, died Friday, March 19, 2010 at 2:15
a.m. in the St. Johns Lutheran Care Center in Mars, Pennsylvania.
Born January 31, 1929 in Mauston,
Wisconsin he was the son of the late James Reynolds and Eunice Wood
Reynolds.
Mr. Reynolds was a welder by trade
and a postal carrier for the United States Post Office, from where
he retired. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Cortez,
Colorado. He was a life member of the VFW. During World War II, he
served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Alaska, and was on Utah Beach
during the Normandy Invasion. During the Korea War, he served in the
U.S. Air Force as a loadmaster.
Mr. Reynolds is survived by his wife
Geraldine Arblaster St. Clair Reynolds; three step daughters
Constance (Lucy) Cantgbe and her husband Wells of Albuquerque New
Mexico, Cheryl Mager and her husband Daniel of Portersville,
Pennsylvania, and Cathy Uniatowski and her husband Michael of
Butler, Pennsylvania; seven step-grandchildren, five step great
grandchildren, one niece and one nephew.
Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by
one step great grandson and one brother.
There will be no public visitation or
funeral services. |
