Betty May Stahlman age 86 of Hoch Road Butler, Pennsylvania died, July 20, 2010 at 11:30 p.m. in the VNA Hospice in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Born December 23,1923 in Perry Township, Jefferson County. She was the daughter of the late Paul H. Stahlman and M. Marie Slawson.

Betty was employed as a clerk at the A&P markets grocery store. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church In America.

She is survived by five brothers: Lee C. Stahlman and his wife, Arlie, William L. Stahlman and his wife Mary Ellen, Terry P. Stahlman, Darl M.Stahlman and his wife, Judy all of Punnxatawney, Pennsylvania and Jerry T. Stahlman and his wife, Nancy of Lewisberry, Pennsylvania; three sisters: Oma Joy Dunmire and her husband, Arnold of Punxatawney, Pennsylvania, Mary Ann Holt of Parker, Colorado, and Nada Marie Smith of Fort Washington, Maryland, one sister-in-law, Sharan Stahlman; her good friend, Shirley Shuber many nieces, nephews and grandnieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers: John S., James H. and Thomas D. Stahlman, two sisters-in-law, Margaret Stahlman and Evelyn Stahlman and one brother-in-law, Ronald J. Smith.

Private graveside services will be held.
