Born August 21, 1919 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Albert F. Yost and Rolena Dowden.

Dolores worked as a secretary for Butler City. After retiring from the City, as part of the Senior Aide Program, she worked at Tanglewood Senior Center, the Red Cross and the Traveling Library. She was a faithful member of Oak Hills Christian Church.

Dolores is survived by one son, Michael Walker and his wife, Julie, of Butler, Pennsylvania, one daughter, Mary Lea Walker and one brother, Elmer Yost, all of Butler, Pennsylvania, and by a number of nieces and nephews.

Dolores was preceded in death by one brother.

Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Sunday, January 17, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Monday, January 18, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be held at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Phillip Conyers, Jr. of Oak Hills Christian Church officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Burial Estates.
