Garnet R. Wdovin, age 79, of Robinson
Run Road, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Sunday, March 14, 2010 at 10:50
a.m. in the St. John Specialty Care Center, Mars, Pennsylvania.
Born November 10, 1930 in Butler,
Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Harry Stevenson and
Goldie Bowser Stevenson.
Mrs. Wdovin was a housekeeper,
retiring in 1990. Mrs. Wdovin loved gardening and going for walks.
Mrs. Wdovin is survived by her
husband, Nicholas Wdovin, whom she married in 1950; one son, Nick S.
Wdovin of Butler, Pennsylvania; two daughters, Janet King and Sandy
Sadlak; three grandchildren, one great- grandchild; four brothers,
William Stevenson, Harry Stevenson, Ike Stevenson, and Richard
Stevenson, all of Butler, and two sisters, Beatrice Burns and Lois
Callihan, both of Butler.
In addition to her parents, Mrs.
Wdovin was preceded in death by one grandson and three sisters,
Elenor Brant, Marie Normon, and Eathel Lance.
A memorial service for Mrs. Wdovin
will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. at the Kingdom
Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 1046 Ekastown Road, Saxonburg,
Pennsylvania 16056. |
